Terms of use and sale.

1. Who can use our services

You must be at least the age of majority in your province to sell, buy or trade a device with us.

2. Online quotes are estimates

The quote shown on this website is an estimate based on the details you select: brand, model, storage or configuration, carrier and condition. It is not a binding offer. Estimates are in Canadian dollars and are valid for 14 days. Devices marked as damaged, and any device we cannot price online, are quoted individually after inspection.

3. Inspection and final offer

We inspect every device before making a final offer. If the device matches what you described, the final offer will normally match your estimate while it is valid. If anything differs, for example condition, battery health, carrier, storage or function, we will explain the difference and give you a revised offer. You are never obliged to accept a revised offer.

4. Selling a device to us

When you sell or trade a device to us, you confirm that:

• you own the device, or are authorized by its owner to sell it;
• it is not lost, stolen, blacklisted, or subject to unpaid financing or a lien;
• Activation Lock, Find My, Google or Samsung account locks, iCloud and any device management (MDM) have been fully removed;
• the information you gave us about the device is accurate.

We may check a device's serial number or IMEI before paying for it, and we may refuse any device that fails these checks. If a device we bought is later found to be stolen or not yours to sell, we may reverse the transaction, ask you to repay what we paid, and report it to the police.

5. Your data on the device

Please back up your data, sign out of all accounts and erase the device before handing it over. We reset every device before resale, but we are not responsible for data, files or accounts you leave on a device.

6. Payment

The payment method, amount and timing are confirmed with you before a sale, purchase or trade is completed. Ownership of a device passes when payment is made in full.

7. Buying a device from us

Before you buy, we will tell you the price, the condition of the device and any warranty or return terms that apply, and give you those terms in writing. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act or any other law that protects you.

8. Trades

In a trade, your device is valued in the same way as a sale, and the device you receive is priced in the same way as a purchase. Sections 3 to 7 apply to both sides of a trade.

9. Prices and errors

Prices change as the used-device market moves. We work to keep the prices on this website accurate. If a price is shown in error, we may correct it before making an offer, and we will tell you before you commit to anything.

10. Use of this website

You may use this website for your own personal or business enquiries. Please don't misuse it, submit false information, or try to interfere with how it works. The text, design and logo on this site belong to Sell With Ease. Product names and images are used only to identify the devices we buy and sell; they belong to their owners, who do not sponsor or endorse us.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or from a quote. Our total liability for any transaction is limited to the amount paid in that transaction. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

14. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you complete a transaction is the one that applies to it.
